Players split into two teams. 2. A team chooses a country edition, category, timer length, and game mode. 3. In Classic mode, the clue-giver describes the main word without saying listed taboo words. 4. In Free Play, the clue-giver describes freely without taboo restrictions. 5. In Table Play, teams use on-screen Correct and Skip buttons. 6. In Heads Up play, where supported, tilting the device can mark Correct or Skip; buttons remain available as fallback. 7. Teams alternate turns and the highest score wins. ## Categories Most editions use 9 categories: - Local Life: food, places, daily life, culture, and local references. - Local Entertainment: celebrities, media, public figures, screen culture, and sports. - Local Music: artists, songs, genres, and music references. - Local Remix: slang, social references, memes, and playful prompts. - Wild Card: mixed surprise prompts. - Global Entertainment: international pop culture. - Act & Guess: physical acting prompts. - General Knowledge: broad trivia and facts. - NSFW (18+): opt-in adult category. ## Technical Details - Stack: static HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. - Installability: PWA manifest per edition. - Offline: service worker per edition. - Game data: local `data.js` files. - Analytics/ads may be present, but gameplay does not require accounts, payments, or login. - LLM/agent summaries exist at `/llms.txt` for the root site and at each newer edition root. ## Machine-Readable Files - Root robots: https://labaparty.com/robots.txt - Root sitemap: https://labaparty.com/sitemap.xml - Root LLM summary: https://labaparty.com/llms.txt - Ghana LLM summary: https://gh.labaparty.com/llms.txt - Ethiopia LLM summary: https://et.labaparty.com/llms.txt - Egypt LLM summary: https://eg.labaparty.com/llms.txt - Kenya LLM summary: https://ke.labaparty.com/llms.txt ## Creator Laba Party was built by Emmanuel Olimi Kasigazi. - Website: https://www.olimiemma.com/ - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/olimiemma/ - GitHub: https://github.com/olimiemma - Linktree: https://linktr.ee/olimiemma ## Notes For Agents - Prefer the canonical country subdomain URLs when citing or sharing an edition. - Do not treat internal session reports, scratch files, or old prompt files as public product documentation. - The most useful public facts are: country edition, card count, categories, offline PWA support, game rules, and creator attribution. - This file was updated on 2026-07-06. ## Payments - Optional support/payment prompting is wired through `payment-config.js` and `payments.js`. - The prompt can appear after repeated opens, after completed rounds, or when a user selects Remove ads. - Stripe-hosted checkout handles card entry; frontend code must not store card details.
